Requirements

  • Willing and able to work 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am) with overtime and/or weekends as needed
  • Willing and able to perform physical demands: reach high and low levels frequently; flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally; push/pull/lift up to 40 pounds frequently at various levels; work in hot/cold/damp environments and loud noise levels
  • Willing and able to comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements
  • Not a prior Tyson worker (no rehires accepted at this location)

Responsibilities

  • Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment
  • Clean up excess waste on the floors
  • Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment
  • Scour all equipment with a scouring pad and/or chemicals as required
  • Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant, and oil when done
  • Clean lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, etc
  • Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data
  • Perform any other work as assigned by the supervisor
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
  • Operate, disassemble, clean, sanitize, and set up equipment for inspection at start-up while adhering to food safety practices and company policies
