Some high school or equivalent education
No previous experience required
Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
Ability to work any area of the restaurant when needed
Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
Physical ability to bend, stand, and walk the entire workday
Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

Greet guests cheerfully and helpfully while preparing their orders
Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and explain them accurately to guests
Use Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and compute bills
Collect payments from guests and make change
Perform Cash-In Procedure, accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift
Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner
Check products in sandwich unit area and restock items to ensure sufficient supply
Adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during preparation, service, and cleanup
Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image
Adhere to the Wash, Rinse, and Sanitize method of cleaning
Adhere to all quality standards, formulas, and procedures in the Subway® Operations Manual: Daily Procedures
Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Subway® Operations Manual
Perform light paperwork duties as assigned
Complete University of Subway® courses as directed
