Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Salesforce implementations
  • 3+ years of programming experience with Salesforce’s Apex programming language, LWC, and Visualforce
  • 2+ years of experience with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud
  • 2+ years working with version control system, such as Git, and CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience implementing reports and dashboards in Salesforce
  • Familiarity with Messaging for in-app and web components
  • Experience implementing a CTI solution for Salesforce (Amazon Connect experience is a plus)
  • Experience implementing case automation through Omnichannel
  • Familiarity with performing admin tasks in Salesforce
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, handling ambiguity and competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition, design, architecture, implementation, and delivery of Slate’s CRM system
  • Work closely with the sales and customer support teams to optimize the Salesforce experience and troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues
  • Work closely with software engineers on the Slate Digital team to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and other Slate systems
  • Own end-to-end quality of Salesforce solutions: from code to test to integration to deploy to support
  • Relentlessly simplify solutions, demonstrating significant innovation, creativity, and judgement when solving challenging problems
  • Serve as an authority on Salesforce solutions, consulted by technical and business communities for difficult trade-off decisions
  • Drive awareness about the impact and consequences of technical decisions on the business, balancing technical leadership with strong business judgment for long-term technology choices
  • Assist in the career development of others, actively mentoring individuals and the community on advanced technical issues and helping managers guide team career growth
