Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google applications (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, and under some pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for the purpose of explaining information to customers and employees
  • Detail oriented with strong time management skills
  • Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position’s responsibilities
  • Two years in a customer service and/or sales related role required (preferred)
  • Prior experience with SAP preferred
  • Sales and Customer Service Experience

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales representatives and act as the pricing execution expert for the local areas
  • Manage pricing through system requests, monitor price overrides, and implement price increases
  • Resolution of customer disputes
  • Assist sales representatives by providing sales and margin analysis reports, and various other reports as needed
  • Maintain a high level of internal customer service by assisting sales teams with contract management, equipment sales agreements, price management, and other tasks as assigned
  • Produce sales and margin analysis, as well as usage reports to Account Managers on an adhoc basis, utilizing data available in BW (Business Warehouse), PowerBI, and in SAP
  • Initiate all special pricing from sales representatives
  • Provide comprehensive PSA management and contract review, submit sales deal pricing in PROS (Smart Price Management), and work with Account Managers and District Managers to manage effective price increases
  • Prepare business review and performance service reports for account managers to use in sales strategies
  • Manage dispute workbench for designated area, resolving customer issues with pricing
  • Create new sold to accounts, and validate account accuracy setup for area
  • Coordinate efforts with the e-business team to setup customers on Airgas.com
  • Take initiative to review account pricing and identify areas where efficiency is needed
  • Submit and update all contract pricing for designated districts
  • Support sales team with all PPRs (Periodic Price Reviews) for the designated districts
  • Perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
