Job Description: Broker Support Specialist

This role will support brokers with the contracting/certification process, enrollments, answer specific product questions, and assist with escalated issues. The position reports to the Broker Service Department and will be dedicated to the appropriate market.

Required Qualifications

  • Health insurance related experience: 2-3 years of experience supporting Brokers is REQUIRED.
  • Insurance License: Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is desired. Must obtain license within 6 months of hire if not currently licensed.
  • Travel: Willing to travel to broker meetings upon request (up to 25%).
  • Location: Must reside in the Pacific or Mountain time zone. Pacific time zone is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a production environment.
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage.
  • Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment (e.g., call center, retail location) is preferred.

Education

  • The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
  • Time Type: Full-time
  • Pay Range: $18.50 - $38.82 per hour. This range represents the base hourly rate. The actual base salary will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geography.
  • Incentives: This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay.
