Working knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups
Basic understanding of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques
Basic understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques
Working knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges
Experience or understanding around the electrical industry, power generation and / or distribution

Responsibilities

Recognize which products should be offered based on the customer’s request for quote
Review Customer Drawings and Specifications and provide clarifications, exceptions, and deviations as required with bids
Use design configurators to build conceptual switchgear layouts to feed the costing tool
Use costing tools to provide costing for custom applications
Develop Sales Proposals
Create the Order Entry tasks necessary to facilitate the transfer of the project to the project execution teams
