Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years in self-directed field-based selling role or in Headquarters-based sales support/customer marketing role
  • Proficiency with syndicated data sources (IRI and IRI Unify)
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to pull and analyze data out of enterprise reporting tools
  • Working understanding of trade management systems to analyze and create trade programs
  • Knowledge of POWER BI or other data visualization packages (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize and understand Salesforce reporting (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Development and deployment of the Supplier Excellence framework, including collaboration with sales leadership and cross-functional partners to align on priorities, positioning, content, and deployment
  • Development, implementation, and administration of the Customer Planning process, including creation and cultivation of methodologies and templates for the field sales organization
  • Develop, administer, and analyze customer surveys to gauge the effectiveness of the Supplier Excellence framework and delivery on commitments
  • Own the planning and execution of annual Retail and Foodservice Customer Discovery meetings
  • Management of all aspects of participation in Trade/Industry events (e.g., NFRA, IDDBA, WAFC), including message/content development, event logistics, and budget development
  • Design and management of the Customer Engagement process, including development of briefing and message alignment processes for effective customer interactions
  • Development and deployment of weekly and/or monthly sales scorecards and updates to enable understanding of performance, market/customer insights, and key business drivers
  • Drive sales team adoption and utilization of Salesforce and other enabling technologies to support customer planning, engagement, and management processes
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned
