Responsibilities

  • Gain market share in the Cardiac Rhythm Heart Failure (CRHF) business
  • Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services
  • Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services
  • Conduct market research including customers and competitors’ activities
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, develop new customer relationships, implement sales strategies, and close sales
  • Secure and maintain product distributions and/or services and maintain effective agreements
  • Build a network of relationships
  • Achieve individual sales targets and execute on sales plans by developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts, expanding market presence, and building strong client base
  • Drive adoption and penetration in accounts
  • Make improvements to sales processes and tools to enhance performance
  • Recommend changes in account strategy and tactics to achieve sales goals
  • Influence internal contacts and external suppliers, customers, and/or vendors regarding policy, practices, and procedures
  • Communicate with external suppliers, customers, and/or vendors, involving advanced negotiation and/or presentations to manage relationships and close sales
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other sales professionals and/or support employees
  • Manage large accounts, including delegation of work and review of others' work product
