Requirements

  • At least 3 years' overall business experience that includes field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales business planning, or sales business analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training)
  • Experience in the Running Industry in retail or sales (strongly preferred)
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Passionate about running, preferably an enthusiast and a participant
  • Ability to prepare, plan, and deliver clear and persuasive presentations
  • Strong working knowledge of the running industry and trends in the marketplace
  • Understanding of the competitive market, customer, and retail trends
  • Ability to use financial data to make decisions and maximize account profitability
  • Ability to develop seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to lift and carry samples and bags weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the USA

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key partners who authenticate the brand
  • Identify product opportunities
  • Implement merchandising strategies
  • Stay current on product and product changes
  • Display strong customer service skills
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day person responsible for a group of independent regional accounts in the North Region of the US
  • Drive the authentication of Nike running through accounts by aligning to existing strategies
  • Optimize Nike product sales by developing accurate and realistic seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans
  • Solicit and submit orders
  • Ensure timely coordination of order tracking, retail release and launch information, order confirmation, cancellations/Return-To-Stock summaries, and delivery of information
  • Increase sell-in and sell-through by preparing, planning, and delivering clear and persuasive merchandising and product presentations
