Requirements

  • Reside within the assigned territory (Charleston, SC region)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to drive to multiple accounts throughout the region and travel outside the territory
  • Field-based/remote position capability

Responsibilities

  • Sell implantable devices for pain interventions therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other medical staff
  • Manage territory base business and growth by initiating, supporting, and developing strategic implanting centers and key referral networks
  • Serve as account/implanter relationship contact for customer needs, including account-level reimbursement responsibility
  • Coordinate support activities and develop sales partnerships with distribution alliances
  • Provide product and therapy technical support and service, including consultation at strategic implanting centers
  • Analyze sales trends and utilize Neuro business partners to present marketing and business plans for territory development and growth
  • Generate new sales by developing leads, recruiting new surgeons, qualifying prospects, and making sales calls
  • Grow existing interventional business and develop new opportunities
  • Work autonomously, utilizing corporate resources to generate revenue and meet/exceed quota
  • Implement approved marketing strategies
  • Aggressively seek new customers and formulate/follow plans as directed by the District Sales Manager
  • Respond to customer complaints in accordance with Medtronic policy and advise District Sales Manager of situations beyond scope of authority
  • Stay attentive to competitors’ products and merchandising practices and inform District Sales Manager
  • Maintain up-to-date customer record books and other records per District Sales Manager instructions
  • Prepare and submit call reports as required
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed
  • Assist in field training of other sales personnel as requested
  • Cooperate with all personnel on execution of company programs
  • Create and implement an annual business plan with quarterly updates
  • Provide service to customers per their individual needs
  • Respond timely to all reporting requirements and requests
  • Adhere to company policies and conduct business ethically
  • Ensure understanding of quality policy/system items and follow work/quality procedures for compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by sales leadership
