Sales Manager - Food Service/On-Premise Chains

Position Overview

The Sales Manager will manage 15-25 food service/on-premise chain customers, responsible for selling all beverage package forms to this portfolio. The role also involves seeking out and converting new chain business. Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of customer businesses, encompassing strategic assessment, sales forecasting, conducting business reviews, managing senior-level relationships, and effectively activating and implementing the beverage strategy.

Salary & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $103,000 - $121,000
    • Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Benefits: A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
  • Annual Incentive: 15% (Reference value is market-based competitive value for the role, indicating performance at target.)

Responsibilities

  • Write Annual Business Plan for a specific group of customers to forecast volume, revenue, and expenses.
  • Appropriately probe to uncover customer's business objectives and needs to develop value creation strategies, investment strategies, and influencing plans to successfully accomplish Coca-Cola and Customer objectives.
  • Renegotiate Contractual Agreements.
  • Conduct regular business reviews.
  • Solve issues that arise during execution to eliminate barriers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members (e.g., marketing, operations, finance).
  • Gather and analyze customer-specific data (e.g., annual reports, 10K, store sales, store layout, check average, service history, and traffic) to understand current economics, state of overall business, etc., to identify recommendations for growth.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of successful sales account management.
