Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field (MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus)
At least 5 years of commercial experience in the Life Sciences or laboratory instrumentation industry
Proven experience leading sales teams and handling Key Accounts
Solid understanding of Life Technologies product portfolio and laboratory workflow solutions
Track record of achieving and exceeding business goals in sophisticated environments
Excellent leadership and team development skills
Strategic approach with strong analytical skills and keen business insight
Sophisticated communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
English Intermediate (required)
Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools

Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets and business objectives as set by the Division and the Company
Lead the performance and development of the sales group
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
Develop and complete regional business strategies aligned with national goals for the Life Technologies division
Ensure achievement of quarterly and annual revenue, growth, and profitability targets
Maintain accurate forecasts and handle sales pipelines using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Identify and develop new business opportunities with strategic customers (Key Accounts) and emerging markets
Strengthen relationships with research institutions, diagnostic labs, universities, and hospitals in the territory
Provide clear direction and support to the sales team, encouraging high performance
Partner with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver outstanding customer experience
Provide mentorship and career development to team members, promoting an environment of outstanding performance
Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and financial planning requirements
Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific and Life Technologies at industry events, congresses, and customer meetings
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and safety regulations
