Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field (MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus)
  • At least 5 years of commercial experience in the Life Sciences or laboratory instrumentation industry
  • Proven experience leading sales teams and handling Key Accounts
  • Solid understanding of Life Technologies product portfolio and laboratory workflow solutions
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding business goals in sophisticated environments
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills
  • Strategic approach with strong analytical skills and keen business insight
  • Sophisticated communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • English Intermediate (required)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and business objectives as set by the Division and the Company
  • Lead the performance and development of the sales group
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Develop and complete regional business strategies aligned with national goals for the Life Technologies division
  • Ensure achievement of quarterly and annual revenue, growth, and profitability targets
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and handle sales pipelines using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with strategic customers (Key Accounts) and emerging markets
  • Strengthen relationships with research institutions, diagnostic labs, universities, and hospitals in the territory
  • Provide clear direction and support to the sales team, encouraging high performance
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver outstanding customer experience
  • Provide mentorship and career development to team members, promoting an environment of outstanding performance
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and financial planning requirements
  • Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific and Life Technologies at industry events, congresses, and customer meetings
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and safety regulations
