Requirements

  • 4+ years of industry experience selling at a B2B SaaS company, with a product targeted towards developers, ideally in the Apache Kafka space
  • Knowledge of MEDDIC
  • Experience selling and closing deals with enterprise or large mid-market accounts in DACH region
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable interacting with executives and technical audiences, capable of selling in both business and technical contexts
  • Ability to build strong operational and collaborative relationships with people in distributed teams and locations
  • Solid understanding of streaming or messaging systems like Apache Kafka, Pulsar, Rabbit MQ, JMS, as well as Linux operating systems and basic principles
  • Ability to deliver demos that tell a story, capture an audience, and inspire prospects
  • Ability to qualify and execute proof-of-values (success criteria - documentation), activities, and customer success engagement

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with the sales team to demonstrate and communicate the value of Conduktor throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
  • Diving into client challenges to recommend how the platform can improve their data streaming processes
  • Participating in sales meetings and presentations, and providing training to the sales team on the technical aspects of products or services
  • Staying up to date with new opportunities, industry developments, and competitive and complementary technologies; using this knowledge to identify how Conduktor’s products or services can meet customer needs, and providing input on product strategy to technical teams
  • Assisting in technical onboarding and providing support during trial phases
  • Creating technical content (presentations, documentation, etc.) that shows off the value of the platform
