Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, ideally within telecommunications, VAS, mobile marketing, or digital advertising
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing large operator accounts in Asia
  • Strong network and ability to engage with C-level stakeholders within mobile operators and digital ecosystems
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing, mobile engagement, and performance-based commercial models
  • Ability to map mobile operator organizations, understand internal dynamics, and navigate decision-making structures
  • Strategic mindset with a data-driven approach to planning and decision-making
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, results-oriented approach
  • Ability to thrive in a multinational, fast-paced environment and work effectively across cultures
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Travel requirement: up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the regional sales strategy for Asia, in line with Upstream's global business objectives
  • Own and deliver financial targets (revenue, profitability, and market share) across assigned markets and accounts
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key telecom operators, digital partners, and enterprise clients in the region
  • Drive end-to-end commercial engagement, from opportunity identification and proposal development to contract negotiation and delivery
  • Manage the complete P&L and business planning for the region, ensuring effective execution of all project activities
  • Act as the primary commercial escalation point for all major operator accounts in Asia
  • Provide market insights and identify emerging opportunities to support innovation and business development
  • Contribute to positioning Asia as a key growth region for Upstream over the next few years
