Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience in a sales development associate or inside sales role (SaaS experience a plus)
  • Proven track record of success in past roles in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest through cold discovery calls and email campaigns
  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain high volume of outbound cold calls, emails, and social selling
  • Discover new leads through internet research, social media monitoring/messaging (e.g., LinkedIn Navigator, Twitter)
  • Respond to inbound customer interest and develop accounts to create opportunities
  • Utilize active listening to understand customer needs and business problems, communicating how Drata solves them
  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics (meetings, qualified opportunities, new contacts, etc.)
  • Accurately track customer interactions and information in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Conduct high-level conversations with C-Suite executives in prospect accounts
  • Drive outbound prospecting campaigns (email, phone calls, social media) to identify potential customers and set qualified meetings for Account Executives
