Requirements

  • Deep sales process and offering expertise to manage opportunities from origination to pursuit to close
  • Ability to originate new sales opportunities unrelated to extensions or renewals in a complex, cross-service-group environment
  • Experience leading early-stage positioning with clients and developing/executing origination strategies to identify and qualify opportunities
  • Knowledge of all phases of the sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit, and close, applying deep sales process and technical expertise
  • Ability to develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients using a differentiated roadmap and framework leveraging cloud-based technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of client buyer needs to create solutions to complex technology business problems/opportunities, focused on cloud modernization (application, infrastructure, mainframe, cloud architecture, enterprise modernization)
  • Experience helping customers with cloud modernization strategies, starting with modernizing current IT footprint rather than lift-and-shift of legacy applications
  • Ability to operate within large teams and direct specific team sales activities
  • Capability to interact with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture to determine pursuit strategies, develop client messaging plans and relationships, and apply industry-leading Cloud transformation strategies and practices
  • Willingness to travel 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage the opportunity from sales origination to sales pursuit to close using deep sales process and offering expertise
  • Originate new sales opportunities unrelated to extensions or renewals in a complex environment, typically cross service-group
  • Lead early-stage positioning with clients and develop and execute the origination strategy to identify and qualify specific opportunities
  • Work with account teams to ensure closure of sales, potentially focusing on a single large account leveraging deep content knowledge and client relationships
  • Create solutions to complex technology business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs, focused on cloud modernization solutions (application modernization, infrastructure modernization, mainframe modernization, cloud architecture modernization, enterprise modernization)
  • Operate within large teams and direct specific team sales activities
  • Interact with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture
  • Determine pursuit strategies, develop client messaging plans and relationships, and apply industry-leading Cloud transformation strategies and practices
