Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or product development—preferably in battery systems

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for new business opportunities, supporting the sales team with technical responses, customer Q&A, and proposal development
  • Interpret customer specifications and requirements to define battery pack configurations, electrical and mechanical interfaces, performance targets, and validation needs
  • Lead or support the preparation of cost and timing estimates for engineering and production quotations, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and supply-chain teams
  • Develop technical proposal materials including system architecture descriptions, performance summaries, and compliance matrices
  • Participate in customer design reviews and present Re:Build’s technical capabilities and solutions
  • Support feasibility assessments and early-stage concept studies for new applications
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Re:Build’s engineering, testing, and manufacturing capabilities to ensure accurate quoting and positioning
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth handoff from quote to program kickoff
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of quoting tools, standard templates, and cost models
