Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business or engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or engineering within a manufacturing or automation industry
  • Legally able to work in the U.S. without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship/transfer at any time, now or in the future
  • Local residency in the Bay Area with ability to work on site
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal (Spanish language experience a plus)
  • Critical thinker with technical awareness and problem-solving methodologies
  • High energy, passion for success, detail oriented
  • Self-starter, ability to manage multiple activities effectively without supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret large data sets through Excel
  • Engineering background with ability to read prints (preferred, not required)
  • Knowledgeable of vehicle wiring system designs and/or automation processes (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Quote engineering changes and additional operating costs
  • Receive, review, and upload POs
  • Responsible for financial metrics and maintaining low past dues on the account
  • Manage and resolve pricing discrepancies
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Validate and quote engineering changes on new vehicle programs
  • Work closely with Commercial, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
  • Review data with a keen eye for details and strong technical knowledge of automotive/wiring products and manufacturing processes
  • Challenge internal quotes for accuracy and provide proposals to save cost and increase profitability
