Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 4+ years of experience in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Healthcare projects is required, along with hands-on experience with datasets like Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven, or Optum. Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and Spark is essential, as is a strong understanding of Pharma data sets including commercial, clinical, Real-World Evidence (RWE), and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Experience in building and deploying statistical and machine learning models, including segmentation, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate statistical analysis, time series techniques, and optimization, is also necessary. The ability to leverage design thinking, business process optimization, and stakeholder management skills is considered a plus.
The role involves providing strategic advisory services, conducting market research, and developing data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance within the Life Sciences sector. Responsibilities include supporting small to medium-sized teams in delivering consulting projects for global clients, which may encompass strategy, implementation, process design, and change management. The analyst will work on projects utilizing skills from data engineering to data science, provide subject matter expertise in various Life Sciences sub-segments, and develop assets, methodologies, and research papers. Additionally, the role requires supporting strategies and operating models, assessing implementation readiness, co-leading proposals and business development efforts, and executing transformational change plans by engaging stakeholders and building commitment. The analyst will also be responsible for making presentations on functional aspects of their domain.
