Requirements
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision
- Experience working with different business functions and teams across various time zones globally
- Capability to interact with senior Visa Inc. staff and local/regional management
- Skills in managing priorities and liaising with business functions based on Visa strategy and key business drivers
- Discretion in assessing impact on Visa brand, network integrity, client businesses, and feasibility of remedial actions within regulatory framework
- Ability to oversee multiple proposals, prioritize initiatives, and direct staff across business functions for regulatory and strategic compliance
- Knowledge of Visa International By-Laws, Visa Core Rules, Product and Service Rules
Responsibilities
- Support Visa business functions with development and exceptions to Visa Rules
- Address Visa Rules inquiries
- Conduct initial reviews of Spanish translations of Visa Rules and perform comprehensive reviews as needed
- Manage complete Visa Rules Committee (VRC) approval process for global and regional tactical and complex waivers
- Handle billing for waiver extensions
- Collaborate cross-functionally on regional and global scale for rules inquiries, interpretation, and impact analysis
- Develop and revise Visa Rules
- Guide waivers through the approval process and provide updates/guidance to business sponsors and clients
- Provide advice and interpretation of Visa Rules to internal staff and external clients
- Review Visa Business News articles before publication
- Communicate implementation of new rules and waiver approvals to affected clients
- Support continuous development and maintenance of departmental processes and procedures
- Coordinate wider projects, including development of new tools and rules publication quality assurance
- Influence others within job function and provide guidance to Visa internal staff
- Support Visa Rules Committee Due Diligence and Governance Process
- Represent Visa Rules Management team in global and regional offices for maintenance and introduction of initiatives/best practices
- Manage multiple moderate to complex rule waiver requests from business sponsors, prioritizing as needed
- Achieve and contribute to team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
- Support staff across various Visa business functions regarding rule waiver topics
- Oversee the development of new rules
