Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment and reach daily goals given by Supervisor
  • Must be detail oriented and maintain a clean workspace
  • Must follow GMP and PPE standards as required in the RTE and RTH area (e.g., safety goggles, blue aprons, white plastic sleeves, captive footwear)
  • Must report any damages, missing parts, or foreign materials immediately to FSQA/Leadership
  • Must follow all recipes and instructions to create compound ingredients in correct proportions
  • Has a working knowledge of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping
  • Ability to work 1st shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with days off on Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities

  • Guide a line or table of production associates during RTH prep, RTH assembly, portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping
  • Guide, direct, and train assigned production employees
  • Arrive prior to the start of production to obtain production plan and targets from the supervisor
  • Set up portioning tables, meal bagging tables, and/or shipping line according to SOPs, considering production targets and number of associates needed
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to get the production plans and targets for the day
  • Follow production schedules to ensure order completion during allotted timeframes
  • Effectively communicate targets, production expectations, and performance against targets to production associates
  • Ensure associates follow HC policies/procedures and escalate concerns to the Production Supervisor
  • Prioritize and plan for potential product shortages during production and shipping; communicate exact product and quantity needs to warehouse runners to avoid downtime
  • Conduct checks on ingredients for quality, accuracy, and shelf life before starting the line and while the line is running
  • Ensure the table/pods have the labels, packaging, and product needed at the beginning of the shift and start of new activity
  • Bring up improvement ideas to RTH leadership and continuously work to improve SOPs
  • Share recommendations for improvements to SOPs with supervisor
  • When not assisting with RTH specific tasks, direct team in normal production functions/tasks or as assigned
