The role is based in the Rotor shop and Machine shop in Aldine/Westfield, with no mention of remote work options.
Candidates need a High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years related experience, intermediate skill level in aligning, runouts, turning, and grinding on at least two of manual lathe, CNC lathe, or VTLs, ability to read blueprints and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances, and experience operating both manual and CNC machines.
Flexible working patterns include 1st shift from 6am–2:30pm and 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm, with overtime available including weekends.
A strong candidate has 5+ years of experience, intermediate skills on manual/CNC lathes and VTLs, ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances, and experience in Gas turbine repair such as HSPT, GE10's, Fr3, Fr5, Fr6, and F7 rotors and components.
