The Risk Analyst should possess 5+ years of experience in financial risk management, specifically related to high volatility products, and demonstrate familiarity with multiple layers of risk management frameworks. They must be a strong quantitative risk modeller, comfortable with technology and algorithmic thinking, and ideally have experience writing risk management code in one or more programming languages. Additionally, knowledge of crypto-based trading and smart contracts, as well as the ability to interact with blockchain data, is considered a plus.
The Risk Analyst will lead the design of financial risk management practices for multiple crypto-based products and markets, model risk for the organization, and present clear plans for managing and mitigating those risks. They will consult with leadership on key business risks, work with engineering to develop risk monitoring and mitigation tools, and act as an adversarial trader to identify and exploit weaknesses in risk controls.
