Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience using Java, and 4 years of experience with React or React Native and TypeScript. They should have experience building high-quality mobile and web UIs, proficiency in Java frameworks and tools like Spring, Gradle, JUnit, and JVM, and experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, Message Queues, and scalable architectures. Furthermore, candidates need experience with AWS (EKS, Aurora RDS, Elasticache, DynamoDB) and containerization tools, as well as familiarity with React Native and React ecosystems.
The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for building decision platform and machine learning solutions to mitigate business risks within Flex, designing and developing 24/7 high-scale APIs and distributed systems using Java Spring Boot on AWS, and collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to launch new features across web and mobile platforms. They will also work on projects such as the core decision platform, event data stream ingestion, and advanced a/b testing capabilities, ensuring the safety and accessibility of the Flex app while preventing misuse and unauthorized access.
