Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 6 years of experience in revenue accounting or management, ideally within the fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services industries. They must have proven experience leading teams and managing revenue operations, along with strong knowledge of ASC 606, IFRS 15, and GAAP revenue recognition principles. Experience with payments industry revenue streams, such as interchange, transaction fees, subscription models, and merchant acquiring, is preferred. Proficiency in ERP and revenue recognition software, including NetSuite, Zuora, Stripe, or SAP, with a preference for Zuora and Stripe experience, and advanced Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

As a Revenue Accounting Manager, you will oversee revenue recognition, billing, and collections, ensuring accurate billing, invoicing, and revenue reconciliation for payment transactions and subscription models. You will lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, review monthly recurring revenue analysis, manage revenue-related processes for payment processing, implement and optimize automated revenue recognition tools, and collaborate with engineering and product teams for seamless integration. Additionally, you will analyze key revenue metrics, identify opportunities for revenue expansion, and manage collections teams to ensure timely ACH Reject collections. Finally, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of revenue accountants, establish best practices, and collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to streamline revenue workflows and enhance reporting capabilities.
