Responsibilities

  • Maintain superior customer service and promote US Foods Cultural Beliefs (Deliver Excellence, Stop Waste, WIN Together, Speak Up, You Matter)
  • Fill roles including Cashier, Stocker, and Customer Courtesy, working in departments like Front End, Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply as needed
  • Perform front end duties: develop customer relationships, handle checkout (scanning, weighing, lookups), cart-to-cart transfers with tampering checks, receipt checking, store opening/closing
  • On sales floor: assist customers in finding products, receive and stock inventory, rotate products (FIFO), perform quality audits, label merchandise (blaster tagging, catch weight, PLU tags), down stock from top stock, report low stock, ensure accessibility and appeal, assist with price changes, participate in inventory/cycle counts
  • Assist during special events like Vendor Fairs, sales floor resets, and inventory processes
  • Ensure facility maintenance and safety by following policies and notifying management of issues
