Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching/lifting above head
Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
For Stock and Fulfillment: Frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Work with team to keep salesfloor "runway ready" through re-merchandising, sizing, filling, and straightening
Assist customers at cashier with transactions across platforms (in-store, online, mobile), operate POS system, bag items, handle bulky/heavy items, ensure seamless/friendly experience
Support fitting room by greeting/assisting customers, sorting/returning clothing to floor
Create clean/clutter-free experience by sorting/returning clothing to salesfloor
Keep stockrooms organized, check in merchandise accurately, ensure proper ticketing
Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies
Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
Promote initiatives like Nordstrom Rewards program
Receive, unload freight, unpack, deliver merchandise to selling departments (Stock/Fulfillment)
Fulfill customer orders timely following quality standards (Stock/Fulfillment)
Prepare/ship customer orders following quality, packing, shipping standards (Stock/Fulfillment)
Use inventory systems to scan, process, research shipments per inventory control (Stock/Fulfillment)
Maintain clean/organized selling floors and stockrooms
Provide general store support (e.g., events, backroom organization, markdowns, fixture relocation)
