Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree and experience with substance abuse treatment
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances
Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently
Bilingual (Spanish proficient) a plus

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising residents with daily living activities and house management to maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
Assist residents to establish and achieve individualized goals
Ensure safety of residents at all times
Update and maintain accurate documents on residents’ progress and possible need for professional services
Collect random samples for drug testing
Identify and provide conflict resolution between clients if needed
Complete all CPR, medication and sensitivity training
Learn and understand health and safety standards, regulations, policies and procedures and comply with them
Model positive and appropriate behaviors for residents
Participate in staff meetings as required
Maintains confidentiality of residents
Perform other duties as assigned
