Requirements

4+ years of experience in a data infrastructure role or equivalent role
Strong Kubernetes experience (GKE/EKS/AKS or OpenShift preferred)
Proficiency in Python/Go
Good understanding of network complexities and architectures
Versatile Terminal and CLI user
Experience setting up and troubleshooting distributed systems
Experience with complex SaaS infrastructure operating at scale
Experience with at least one major cloud provider API/tooling
Cloud-native data architecture experience
Strong customer-facing skills
Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Implement Astronomer’s software and services in the core of some of the world’s largest businesses and organizations
Guide customers in their Apache Airflow journeys
Act as the core interface between the Customer, Sales, and Product
Ensure that the broader solution around the platform is solving pain points and bringing value to customers
Support customers primarily in the East Coast time zone
Travel to support business and customer engagements
