Requirements

  • TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance
  • Onsite support at Chantilly, VA and/or Richardson, TX (regionally remote)
  • Senior Network Engineering Design/Architecture, Operational, and Support experience in Data Center network environments
  • Deep understanding and technical expertise in configuration, troubleshooting, and operation of Juniper products: QFX, EX, Apstra, Junos
  • Expertise in Layer 2 switching technologies, EVPN, Layer 2 and Layer 3 Multicast, OSPF, BGP, and associated tunneling technologies (GRE, VXLAN, etc.)
  • Experience with Automation Frameworks, DevOps Concepts, scripting, and Programming Languages (Kubernetes, Ansible, Python) a plus
  • Provides technical knowledge and analysis, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems
  • Contributes to project meetings to report status, issues, and risks
  • Participates in all phases of development with emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation
  • Applies principles, methods, and knowledge of the functional area to specific task orders or project requirements
  • Uses advanced mathematical principles and methods to solve exceptionally difficult technical problems
  • Assess and document the current site network configuration and user requirements
  • Travel as necessary
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively work independently and function in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize work activity to achieve customer and account team goals
  • Expert-level relationship management, communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively work with customer engineers and JTAC to resolve hardware and software issues and implement solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate case status updates and deliver root cause analysis
  • Support informal and formal technology briefings and training sessions
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Certifications such as JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE are a plus
