Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related area, and have advanced experience in data manipulation tools including Python, pandas, pyspark, and SQL. A deep knowledge of statistics, probability, and machine learning techniques is required, along with experience building, testing, and validating machine learning models using state-of-the-art technology. Strong background in designing and developing software to implement advanced analytic algorithms is also necessary, as is the ability to quickly learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Research Data Scientist will collaborate closely with engineering and technology teams to build predictive models, measurement algorithms, and deep analyses to provide insights for optimizing Tatari’s business, specifically applying state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to build predictive models and recommender systems, applying deep understanding of statistics and probability to devise improvements to existing algorithms, contributing to the development and maintenance of internal analysis software libraries, and analyzing large amounts of data to identify relationships and trends, translating them into actionable insights for the product team and clients. They will also develop new intellectual property and report findings both orally and in writing.
