Position Overview

Tatari is seeking a Research Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage diverse datasets and cutting-edge technologies to develop production-quality, scalable, and automated solutions for complex data challenges. You will have the autonomy to utilize the latest technologies, build innovative applications from the ground up, and contribute to creating a reliable online experience for our customers. This position involves close collaboration with our technology and client-facing teams to optimize our business and redefine marketing analytics for TV and streaming video media buying.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and technology teams to build predictive models, measurement algorithms, and in-depth analyses for business optimization.
  • Apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to construct predictive models and recommender systems.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of statistics and probability to enhance existing algorithms.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal analysis software libraries.
  • Develop new intellectual property.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify relationships and trends, translating findings into actionable insights for the product team and clients.
  • Report findings effectively through both oral and written communication.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science).
  • Advanced experience with data manipulation tools such as Python, pandas, pyspark, and SQL.
  • Deep knowledge of statistics, probability, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proven experience in building, testing, and validating ML models using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Strong background in designing and developing software to implement advanced analytic algorithms.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strengths in creativity and open-ended problem-solving, with the ability to identify critical focus areas for effective problem resolution.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • PhD in a technical field.
  • Industry experience with the development and deployment of predictive models or recommendation systems.
