Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment (call center preferred; doctor's office experience must involve managing 75+ calls/day)
  • Effective and empathetic communication style for managing inbound calls and communications with clients and team members
  • Computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Basic alphanumeric data entry skills with attention to accuracy and quality
  • Intermediate math skills with attention to detail and quality
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Adequate home internet (high speed preferred; minimum 50 mb/sec download and 5 mb/sec upload; include screenshot at top of resume)
  • List city/state at top of resume

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to patients and handle inbound return calls to assist with refilling medications
  • Educate members on the value and purpose of the Pharmacy Advisor program, client-related messages, medication ordering processes, and medication cost savings opportunities
  • Support requests received via fax
  • Transfer members with clinical questions to a consulting Pharmacist as necessary
  • Potential cross-training to support other clinical services based on business needs
