Responsibilities

Break news on capital flows, private equity executive moves, and other big/small scoops
Conduct exclusive interviews with corporate, banking, private equity executives, and regional fund managers
Source and deliver scoops in private markets and energy news
Contribute to daily global news report by identifying important, forward-looking details from regional companies, central banks, and business entities, and turning them into informative, punchy headlines and short articles in English
Analyze news quickly and explain signals to investors, including short quick-fire analysis, longer-form articles, and expansive thematic items
Tap existing sourcing or build sourcing to break news
Exercise exceptional news judgment to identify important disclosed news for professional audiences, prioritize, summarize into smart briefs, and provide follow-up analysis
Recognize and respond to core audiences for Dow Jones Newswires and their needs
Collaborate with reporters and editors from Dow Jones Newswires, The Wall Street Journal, other Dow Jones colleagues, and those in other bureaus/regions
Communicate precisely and respectfully
Uphold Dow Jones standards and ethics
