Requirements

  • High Tier 1 contractor and Utilities knowledge and relationship development
  • Acquiring and retaining technical knowledge of new and/or existing water solutions
  • Knowledge of Rental products, solutions, and strategic development
  • Ability to explore customer needs and present products & solutions
  • Assertiveness and focus on the sales process
  • Ongoing curiosity about technical and sales developments in the field and relevant industry segments
  • Strict record-keeping in CRM (opportunities, contracts, email handling, customer relations, tenders, quotations)

Responsibilities

  • Form part of the WSS UK/I sales team with principal responsibility for Rental sales in the Southern Region
  • Acquire, develop, and manage existing customers and new prospects
  • Build and maintain a strong network with clients and different stakeholders, including High Tier 1 contractors
  • Initiate sales processes by scheduling appointments with clients and prospects
  • Gain customer trust by listening, being responsive, and demonstrating commitment to their success
  • Identify decision-makers and leverage factors driving their buying decisions
  • Identify needs and advise customers on solutions at or beyond expectations
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders
  • Link products/solutions/services/rental offerings to customer needs and convey compelling value propositions
  • Keep customers informed of changes and developments in the field
  • Manage and respect the customer funneling strategy for direct and indirect channels
  • Identify market potential, qualify accounts, prioritize based on strategic sales plan and account planning
  • Assist in collecting strategic market information by tracking competitors and customer response
  • Identify and respond to technical and commercial market trends
  • Meet and exceed personal and regional sales targets
  • Respond quickly to opportunities and implement countermeasures when sales deviate from plan
  • Work with third-party contractors to explore mutual benefits
  • Ensure optimum customer satisfaction and achieve agreed sales plan through proactive recruiting and up-/cross-selling
