Requirements

  • Native Japanese skills (mandatory) and Business Fluency in English (preferred)
  • 3+ years experience working in a SaaS or Cloud company (mandatory, preferably in sales, customer success or renewals)
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, negotiation and relational skills
  • Customer churn forecasting, associated pipeline development and management skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in presentation and verbal skills with ability to build relevant, strategic messaging in customer meetings
  • Detail-oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, & self-motivated
  • Salesforce CRM, Clari, Zuora, Servicenow, Google Sheets/Slides experience (plus)
  • BS/BA degree (preferred)
  • Presence and proficiency in social media such as LinkedIn (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct and indirect (partner) renewals from a designated Book of Business (BoB) to drive high renewal rates (Net Renewal rate / Gross Renewal rate)
  • Engage customers at risk of cancelling due to satisfaction issues, adoption, or competitor threats; proactively flag at-risk accounts and invoke Executive Engagement where appropriate
  • Proactively engage with customers/partners on renewal opportunities 120-180 days before renewal date
  • Manage pricing and contract extensions with customers, focusing on upsell and cross-sell while articulating Zoom platform benefits
  • Assist at-risk customers by facilitating conversations to mitigate cancellation risk and drive cross-functional accountability
  • Drive cross-functional accountability on large at-risk accounts, maintain up-to-date notes, and forecast risks
  • Perform other operational tasks related to the Renewals team's day-to-day business
  • Work cross-functionally with CSMs, Sales, Channel team, Engineering, Support, and Executives
  • Meet quotas by forecasting weekly, quarterly, and quarter+1 against BoB, including renewal updates, churn, risks, and upsell opportunities via Clari
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and renewal progress in Salesforce CRM
