  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance activities

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, commissioning, testing, operations, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbines, PV solar field structures, inverters, battery storage, balance of plant equipment, communications, metrological stations, IT equipment, and substation equipment
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, record and review data, and report abnormal conditions
  • Conduct and review safety analyses of potential electrical and mechanical hazards
  • Support Root Cause Analyses to determine equipment failures
  • Perform all work on site with a continuous emphasis on safety, quality, the environment, and regulatory compliance
  • Immediately report incidents (safety, environmental, or regulatory), injuries, or unsafe acts
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work site
  • Complete required documentation for corrective and preventive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and/or retrofit low to medium voltage electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic components
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities safely and efficiently
  • Utilize appropriate safety gear and control/dissipation of energy sources
