Position Overview

Brafton, a leading global content marketing firm, is seeking an A-Player Content Marketing Strategist. We are looking for a client-focused, self-motivated, digitally-savvy, and results-driven individual to join our team. This role involves a blend of account management, content marketing strategy development, revenue retention and growth, and project management. You will consult, strategize, and manage the execution and integration of custom content strategies designed to drive growth for mid-to-large scale organizations. Success in this role requires both industry expertise and exceptional organizational skills to manage a diverse range of initiatives.

Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Build strong rapport with clients and gain a deep understanding of their businesses.
  • Manage a client portfolio of 20-25 clients across various industries.
  • Demonstrate strategy success through ROI reporting and achievement of client objectives.

Content Strategy

  • Consult with clients to develop and maintain robust, multi-faceted content marketing strategies.
  • Conduct research, interpret data, and present statistical reporting.

Revenue Retention and Growth

  • Measure success by client retention rates and account base growth.
  • Effectively sell subsequent strategies and create statements of work aligned with client business objectives.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen, understanding business decision-making and revenue generation in competitive markets.

Project Management

  • Collaborate with Brafton’s content creation teams (editorial, graphics, video, social media) and the web integration team.
  • Work with clients to execute strategies that deliver strong ROI against client objectives.
  • Success is measured by the strength of your portfolio and rewarded through incentive opportunities (client retention/organic growth).

Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in Account Management and/or demonstrated knowledge/expertise in the latest content marketing/SEO strategy trends.
  • Ability to develop effective content strategies with a keen eye for displaying content and optimizing UX best practices.
  • Phenomenal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
