Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree and be an active member of a state bar, eligible to practice in any U.S. state. A minimum of seven years of legal experience is required, with in-house counsel experience being preferred. Strong preference is given to candidates with prior experience in the cryptocurrency or technology sectors.
The Regulatory Counsel will advise on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues pertaining to digital assets and Web3 products within the United States and internationally, assist in developing and managing the company’s global licensing strategy, including leading licensing applications, and proactively monitor regulatory developments to advise on product changes and support new product development. They will also manage regulatory inquiries, examinations, and investigations, and collaborate with various internal teams to ensure compliance and future-proof core products.
