Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor degree and be admitted to practice law in at least one of the US states, Canada, or Mexico, with a strong preference for experience in regulatory affairs, financial services, or blockchain technology. Experience in the digital asset or cryptocurrency industry is highly desirable, along with a deep understanding of US, Canadian, and Latin American regulatory frameworks.
As Head of Regulatory Affairs Americas, the individual will be responsible for managing emerging legislative and regulatory issues in the US, Canada, and Latin America, advising business units and senior leadership on regulatory compliance, defining and executing strategies to influence digital asset regulation, coordinating with the Global Head of Policy, building relationships with regulatory professionals and governmental authorities, developing responses to regulatory proposals, and leading responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
