Requirements

Candidates must possess a Veterinary Technician/Technologist Diploma, and demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and professional veterinary nursing care within the scope of regulations dictated by provincial laws. They should also have experience operating and maintaining state-of-the-art veterinary medical equipment, following health and safety regulations, and executing and evaluating quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

The Registered Veterinary Technologist will communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with clients and veterinary care team members, administer and analyze diagnostic tests, assist with surgical and therapeutic procedures, administer and monitor anesthesia, document and maintain accurate medical records, and manage inventory while maintaining a collaborative work environment.
