Candidates must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a valid RVT license, demonstrating at least one year of experience in a veterinary setting. Strong knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures, diagnostic testing, anesthesia, and surgical assistance is required, along with proficiency in utilizing state-of-the-art veterinary equipment.
The Registered Veterinary Technician will communicate compassionately with clients and colleagues, administer diagnostic tests, assist with surgical and therapeutic procedures, provide excellent veterinary nursing care utilizing Fear Free techniques, document medical records accurately, operate and maintain veterinary equipment, perform dental procedures, manage inventory, and execute quality diagnostic images while adhering to professional standards and provincial laws.
