Requirements

Diploma - Veterinary Technician/Technologist
Knowledge of veterinary theory, principles, and concepts
Experience with diagnostic tests (hematology, clinical chemistry, cytology, urinalysis, etc.)
Ability to administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to ethical and professional veterinary nursing care
Familiarity with Fear Free techniques

Responsibilities

Communicate with clients and fellow team members using efficient oral and written communication skills
Administer and analyze diagnostic tests
Assist Veterinarian with surgical and therapeutic procedures
Utilize gold-standard patient care techniques, ensuring operating room compliance
Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia
Provide excellent veterinary nursing care
Document and maintain accurate veterinary medical records
Operate and maintain veterinary medical equipment
Execute and evaluate quality diagnostic images
Perform dental procedures
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Maintain inventory of medical supplies
Maintain a collaborative work environment and assist other staff members
