Diploma - Veterinary Technician/Technologist (Registered Veterinary Technician - RVT)
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Team player

Responsibilities

Communicate compassionately and professionally with clients and team members
Administer and analyze diagnostic tests (hematology, clinical chemistry, cytology, urinalysis, etc.)
Assist veterinarians with surgical and therapeutic procedures, ensuring aseptic standards
Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia per veterinary scope and provincial laws
Provide veterinary nursing care using theory, principles, Fear Free techniques, and regulations
Document and maintain accurate veterinary medical records
Operate and maintain veterinary medical equipment per health and safety standards
Execute and evaluate quality diagnostic images
Perform dental procedures using knowledge of dental structures, diseases, etc
Maintain inventory of medical supplies
Support collaborative work environment and assist other staff
