Requirements

  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program (strongly preferred) or an approved nursing program
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multistate licensure
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC
  • Ability to regularly talk or hear and taste or smell
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to occasionally kneel and lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Required communication, mathematical, and reasoning skills (as specified)

Responsibilities

  • Collect patient health data (Assessment)
  • Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses/problem focus (Diagnosis)
