Requirements

Board Certified by the ANCC as a PMHN
A minimum of 4 years’ post-grad experience practicing as a PMHNP
Prior RN experience in psychiatry/behavior health (preferred)
Ability to obtain and maintain active and unrestricted license and DEA number
Proficiency in using an Electronic Medical Record system
Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
Passion for high-quality care and ability to prioritize best practices in telepsychiatry
Willingness to expand clinical skill set through continuous education
Commitment to evidence-based practice
Proactive approach with a strong work ethic and desire to participate in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

Administer initial mental health evaluations
Develop and implement treatment plans
Manage medications
Provide psychoeducation/supportive therapy
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records for all patient encounters
Participate in a collaborative environment
Expand clinical skill set through continuous education
Prioritize best practices in the virtual telepsychiatry space
Refer patients to specialists and therapists through a strong in-house referral network
Spend time with patients, with a minimum of 60 minutes for intakes and 30 minutes for follow-up visits
