Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding operations or knowledge of Airfreight, Export, and Import Clearance
  • Ability to analyze numerical and cost data effectively
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects
  • Strong process mindset with freight forwarding and e-commerce knowledge
  • Proven problem-solving skills, creativity, teamwork, and innovation
  • Proficiency in Google Office suite
  • Proficiency in fr8Labs
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu
  • Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the overall performance of current solutions and operations
  • Develops competitive freight solutions
  • Management of escalations, Ad-hoc, or Exceptions
  • Responsible for vendor lead time adherence
  • Billing/financial reporting (timeliness, accuracy, costing)
  • Actively track and trace shipments and update customers accordingly
  • Collaborate with Freight team members to innovate around constraints & solutions
  • Work with the Ninja Freight team to ensure customer expectations are well-managed
  • Coordinate Ninja Freight’s air freight shipment handling (air freight operation and coordination, shipment documents) with sales support and customers
  • Support the Regional Manager in sourcing suitable air freight and clearance vendors
  • Support the Regional Manager with onboarding and implementation for all vendors
  • Responsible for providing operational requirements and input before/during vendor onboarding
  • Responsible for monitoring vendor ops performances and key practices
  • Remain updated on the assigned region’s shipping and customs regulations
  • Responsible for producing the WI and SOPs to ensure operations scalability and consistency, and equip the team with the right skill set and knowledge to validate vendor invoices
  • L2 escalations - liaison with management (internal and external)
