Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (or extensive relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • Ability to physically cover and maintain regular face-to-face contact with customers over a large geographic area (Washington D.C./Baltimore territory)
  • Must reside within assigned territory as permissible under state law
  • Willingness to travel by automobile, train, or airplane, including overnight stays; occasional weekend work for trade shows
  • Physical capability to lift and transport medical equipment/supplies and set up portable booths

Responsibilities

  • Develop professional expertise and apply company policies/procedures to achieve quarterly sales goals for assigned renal products
  • Execute sales objectives: provide sales targets/forecasts, plan/deliver/measure results, achieve 3+ daily customer calls (including 1 physician call/day), maintain reports on sales calls/market shares/demographics/targets, identify threats/opportunities
  • Attend local Network, ANNA, and regional shows; participate in national sales meetings and required training
  • Communicate/collaborate with supervisor and company personnel to plan/achieve success
  • Maintain technical and clinical proficiency on all products
  • Develop strong customer relationships, identify needs, sell complete value of Fresenius products/services, provide excellent follow-up/service
  • Support Fresenius Clinical Support Specialist during equipment evaluations
  • Coordinate in-services, technical, and sales support to meet customer needs
  • Utilize CRM tool daily: maintain customer contacts/sales call info, enter/close appointments, update key customer information
  • Maintain accurate/effective use of APTTUS Contract Management Software and manage customer contracts timely
  • Exercise good judgment within procedures, comply with Code of Business Conduct, compliance policies, laws/regulations
  • Assist with projects, complete administrative duties (e.g., expense reports), operate within expense budget
  • Other duties as assigned
