Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related science, with advanced degrees or professional certifications being a plus. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in sales management, preferably within Laboratory Chemicals or Consumables, is required. Strong understanding of business dynamics in Taiwan and the ability to manage cross-country relationships are essential. Proven experience in customer service, sales, and marketing within Taiwan, along with familiarity with the Taiwanese business environment, is necessary. Experience in the chemicals or lab consumable market beyond Taiwan is advantageous. Strong channel management experience, excellent interpersonal skills for influencing collaborators in a multi-cultural organization, comprehensive knowledge of the sales process, proficiency in forecast management, business insight, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, and a willingness to travel as needed, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager will lead and develop channel business for the Laboratory Chemicals Division in Taiwan, Japan, and South Asia (excluding India), achieving revenue targets for the LCD portfolio in these territories. Responsibilities include developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, collaborating with internal teams for efficient business support, recommending and implementing tactical plans to achieve sales goals, and reporting quarterly goals aligned with corporate and regional objectives. The role involves monitoring and analyzing regional market trends, participating in scientific conferences and tradeshows, working with the marketing team to improve market segment penetration, and traveling within the assigned territory to work with local channel partners and close sales.
