Responsibilities

Ensure the effective implementation of safety and training programs, initiatives, and quality control measures at all operational sites
Travel to various sites to support audits and investigations, provide hands-on safety training, and support site managers
Perform frequent safety behavior observations
Promote mentoring of technicians through standardizing OJT
Conduct emergency response drills
Coordinate and perform trainings on-site and with regional training providers
Standardize the use of tools, PPE, and technical documentation
Share successful safety improvements from other sites within the region to foster consistency and continuous improvement
Ensure that all sites in the region are aligned with O&M Engineering standards and procedures and the current industry best practices both locally and globally
Work with site managers to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to enhance operational safety efficiency
Perform root cause analysis for incident investigations
Develop incident investigations into lessons learned
Conduct regular on-site training sessions for employees
Ensure proper documentation of trainings and OJT completions in the LMS
Ensure that all sites in the region are performing maintenance tasks to the same standard
