Requirements

Current licensure in the State of California as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role in an inpatient psychiatric setting (preferred)
Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V, NANDA, nursing process, psychosocial rehabilitation principles and practices, recovery-based principles and practices, evidence-based practices, and current best and promising practices
Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
BLS-CPR and first aid certified (American Heart Association preferred)

Responsibilities

Provide support, consultation, and supervision to each of the campus nursing departments under the supervision of the Vice President of Clinical Services, Quality Measures and Accreditation
Develop a partnership with campus administrator, Director of Nursing, and the Integrated Support Team to help drive the overall success of their programs
Support program implementation and policies and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining sound business operations
