Requirements

  • Current licensure in the State of California as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role in an inpatient psychiatric setting (preferred)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V, NANDA, nursing process, psychosocial rehabilitation principles and practices, recovery-based principles and practices, evidence-based practices, and current best and promising practices
  • Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • BLS-CPR and first aid certified (American Heart Association preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide support, consultation, and supervision to each of the campus nursing departments under the supervision of the Vice President of Clinical Services, Quality Measures and Accreditation
  • Develop a partnership with campus administrator, Director of Nursing, and the Integrated Support Team to help drive the overall success of their programs
  • Support program implementation and policies and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining sound business operations
